Director
Adam Adolfo (Director) is a producer, stage director, choreographer, and designer having directed Shakespeare, musicals, opera, and staging several world premier plays across the country. He was honored with a Fort Worth Weekly VISIONARY AWARD, for his outstanding contributions to the artistic community in the Dallas-Fort Worth region. Mr. Adolfo is the first and only performing arts professional to receive this distinction. Formerly the Executive Artistic Director for Artes de la Rosa Cultural Center for the Arts and mastermind behind its 5 Year American Classic’s Initiative, previously the Managing Artistic Director of The Living Opera, he directed the regional premiere of the Pulitzer Prize nominated opera, Henry Faust. Adam Adolfo also served as the General Manager for the award-winning Weathervane Playhouse. A graduate of Stephen F. Austin University, Adam studied with the Texas Shakespeare Festival before becoming the Production Associate at the Arizona Theatre Company.
Most recently he directed Sagittarius Ponderosa for Austin Rainbow Theatre and Wit for City Theatre Austin. Amongst his favorite credits are Into the Woods, Standing On Ceremony, Sweet Eros, Much Ado About Nothing, A Streetcar Named Desire, Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol, Dora the Explorer Live! The Baltimore Waltz, She Loves Me, Howie Takes a Trip, Brigadoon, Hamlet, Romeo & Juliet, Women on the Verge…, La Llorona, The Wild Party, and In the Heights. In 2018 he staged an original piece at the world famous AT&T Performing Arts Center called ELEMENTAL: Nature’s Rhapsody in the Donor Reflecting Pool in the shadow of the Winspear Opera House.
Choreographer
Kate Evetts (Choreographer) is thrilled to be joining the Georgetown Palace for the first time in this exciting production of Oklahoma! Kate has spent the last 19 years as a dancer, performer, choreographer and instructor in the Austin area and is thrilled to bring her knowledge and experience to the Springer Stage. Recent stage credits include “Bring it On: The Musical” (co-choreographer) and “Legally Blonde, The Musical,” (dance captain, ensemble) with Zilker Theatre Productions and representing Revision Dance Company as a Principal and Company Dancer in contemporary dance shows “The Beginning” and “A Man’s World”. She obtained her BS from The University of Texas, where she was a 4-year member and eventual Captain of the Texas Pom Squad and went on to run her own studio for several years. Lucas Lindberg – Music Director
Lucas Lindberg (he/him) is a jack-of-all-trades musician based in Austin, TX. His first Music Director role came in a 2019 production of Company in Seattle, WA. Other recent credits include A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, White Christmas, Fun Home, Shapeshifters: A Queer Comic Book Musical, Little Shop of Horrors, Next to Normal, The Addams Family, Into the Woods, The Drowsy Chaperone, Chicago, and Ride the Cyclone. In addition to music directing, he has enjoyed many years as a live musician, playing in countless musical productions, jazz combos, rock bands, and various world music ensembles.
