Parking can be challenging in downtown Georgetown, so plan accordingly.
Free parking is available in multiple areas:
Street parking after 5 pm
Georgetown Public Library parking lot
Austin Avenue Parking Garage (6th and Austin Ave)
Rock Street Parking Garage (3rd and Rock St)

Evening performances at the historic Palace theatre and the Doug Smith Performance Center start at 7:30 pm. Matinees start at 2 pm. Doors to the lobby open 60 minutes prior to show start.
Special events and Education Productions have varying start times. Please check our website for more information.
We suggest that our patrons take their seats in the theater 10 minutes before the show is scheduled to begin. You will be able to access your seat as early as 30 minutes before the show is scheduled to begin.
Latecomers are not guaranteed immediate seating.

Flex Passes are tickets to our current season. They offer the flexibility to reserve tickets your way, provide early access to reservations, and give you a discount for purchasing multiple tickets. When you purchase a Flex Pass, we send you a code to enter at checkout. This gives you the flexibility to reserve the seats you want and at the quantity you desire. A Flex Pass offers maximum flexibility for your season. You can choose to use all your tickets at once for a single show (perfect for groups!) or break them up throughout the season for multiple shows. How you use them is entirely up to you.

Ticket Check-in: It is not necessary to print your tickets, but you can. We can either scan your email ticket confirmation or text confirmation to get you checked in. If necessary, we can also look up the ticket buyer’s name to check you in.
Refund Policy: We do not offer refunds, except, in the case of a cancelled performance.
Ticket Exchange Policy: Exchanges can be made up to 24 hours prior to show time or by phone during business hours only Mon-Fri, noon-4 pm. After that time no exchanges or rain checks can be made.
Ticket Resell Sites: The Georgetown Palace Theatre is not affiliated with ticket resell sites such as Ticket Center, Vivid seats, Seat Geek, Ticketsales.com, and GOTICKETS. If you buy tickets from them, you are subject to their terms and conditions. Buy tickets directly from the Palace to ensure validity and fair pricing.

Food & Drink
We sell a variety of soft drinks, bottled water, candy, and light snacks. We also offer a variety of beer, wine, and a specialty cocktail. Concession prices range from $4-$12.
No outside food or drink is allowed inside Palace venues.

The Historic Palace Theatre on Austin Avenue and the Doug Smith Performance Center have a designated area for patrons with accessibility needs such as wheelchairs and walkers, as well as for other patrons who have difficulty with stairs. This space is very limited and often sells out. Reservations for accessible seating are available online.
A family/companion restroom is available in the Historic Palace Theatre. The Doug Smith Performance Center contains an accessible stall in each main restroom as well as a family/companion restroom.
In the Historic Palace Theatre, we provide an induction loop hearing system for attendees who use hearing aids and Auracast™ broadcast audio.

The Historic Palace Theatre does not have an elevator. To access the balcony, all patrons must be able to climb a full flight of stairs.
The Doug Smith Performance Center does have an elevator.

For orders of 10 or more, we offer $2 off each adult, senior, or student ticket. Group discounts are not applicable to child tickets. All groups can make reservations by contacting the Box Office at 512-869-7469. Tickets can be reserved without payment, but payment in full is due two weeks after reservations are made. If payment in full is not received, the group reservation will be cancelled.

House management holds the right to deny entry or remove any attendee who behaves in a disorderly manner or who refuses to comply with the policies of the Georgetown Palace Theatre. Ticket holders assume liability for any risk incidental to the performance event.
No person may enter the Georgetown Palace Theater with an openly carried handgun, pursuant to Penal Code § 30.07 (Trespass by License Holder with an Openly Carried Handgun).
Photography and video or audio recording are strictly prohibited during all performances. Offenders may be removed without refund.

In the event that a show is canceled, the theatre will communicate as far in advance as possible. This communication will be provided via email to ticket-holders for that specific performance. If there is an emergency situation, we may also post it on social media or on our website.
