On Sunday, Jan. 25, during the winter weather event, the historic Georgetown Palace Theatre on Austin Avenue suffered extensive damage to our theatre. This an unprecedented event for our theatre. Among having to close this venue for mitigation, we have to replace our sound system, hearing loop, floor carpet, wall carpet, curtains, parts of our stage, and three rows of theatre seating, and the list goes on. There has been an outpouring of support for the Palace, our staff, cast, and crew. We are so thankful for this community and for all of your encouraging words of support. It is a testament to the spirit of Georgetown and Central Texas, that we are not alone. And that matters so much to us.

If you are in a position to support the Palace with a donation, we would be most grateful. This fundraising campaign is meant to rebuild the Palace back better than ever. If we have to be closed, we might as well make the best of it and give this century-old theatre a glow-up.

Each metal plaque is customizable and will be placed on the back of our new chairs based on the level of your donation. Donors will be contacted to discuss the details of each plaque.
