A tree-hugging, Birkenstock-wearing Southern free spirit. Charlie is intelligent, outspoken, slightly acerbic, and fiercely loyal to her friends. Beneath her laid-back exterior is a woman grappling with an unexpected midlife crisis. Excellent comic instincts and warmth needed.
LIBBY RUTH AMES
Female, 50s
A hopeless romantic who is sweet-natured, plain-spoken, and seemingly guileless. However, Libby Ruth is far more perceptive than people give her credit for. As she returns to college later in life, she navigates new challenges with optimism and heart. Looking for strong comedic and emotional range.
DEEDRA WINGATE
Female, 50s
A retired judge with a dry wit and a no-nonsense attitude. Headstrong, practical, and fiercely independent, Deedra purchases Laurelton Oaks and spearheads its transformation into a new business venture.
